Construction Committee report: 05/30/2008
1. TCO - Following are pending items for 2nd floor
occupancy
- a. Combustion air for Water Heaters. Contacted Shams
will be done next week Inshallah.
- b. Hand Rails for electrical Room.
Contacted Waqar to
get the welder who did stair rails. Wait this week otherwise look for
some one else to do.
- c. Sign off from Engineers. Will
contact Civil
Landscape and Structural Engineers next week. We have sign off letters
from all special inspectors however Inspector is making a fuss about
this issue.
- d. Elevator Inspection &
Certification.
2. ELEVATOR:
Elevator Redo work is completed. We have called
Schindler to come and do their inspection. Schindler has not returned
our calls. Lawsuit with Schindler has been settled. First payment of
their contract has been paid . Second payment to be mailed today per
agreement. Perhaps Schindler is waiting for their payment before
starting of work.
3. FUNERAL ROOM :
Construction Committee called HVAC Contractor to fill the gas. In
Freezer Mechanic came and could not do due to loose electrical wires.
Waiting for electrician to complete the wiring before refrigerant can
be charged.
4. Parking Lot :
New Parking lot and existing parking lot work is done.
