Work Accomplished progress report:
08/03/2007
1. Exterior Work
- a. Construction Committee has terminated the
Masterbuilt Construction Corporation contract due
to stop of work by them. The Remodeling Co
(Waqar Khan) has been contracted to finish the tasks
left behind by Masterbuit Construction.
- HVAC screen walls and other foam items
to be installed on roof have been ordered.
Work to begin next week inshaallah.li>
- Wrong color roof tiles were delivered.
We are pursuing the contractor to get the
right color tiles.
- d. Concrete along south side of building was poured on 7-25-07. Concrete along east and north is due to be poured next week inshaallah.
2. Interior Work
- Interior doors have been painted. Few doors are not installed and scheduled next week. Some doors were not plumbed and door frames and will be removed and reinstalled next week.
- Floor tiles in bathrooms , funeral room and balconies have been installed. Water Closets are installed. Lavateries to be installed next week inshaallah
- Floor VCT on second floor have been installed. First floor VCT work will begin next week inshaallah.
- d. Fire alarm system wiring is done. Fire Alarm devices scheduled for next week. Minor coordination work neede with phone and elevator contractor.
- e. Overhead inspection for fire passed on 8-02-07. All trade overhead inspection is scheduled for 08-07-07. Ceiling tiles scheduled immediately after that.
- f. Exterior columns and arches are being painted and wil be done next week inshaallah.
3. Move In TCO : Construction Committee has expedited the remaining work necessary to get a Temporary certificate of Occupancy. After the Fire Alarm work is done and elevator work is completed , we will apply for TCO by Mid August. 2007.
4. Parking Lot : Construction committee met with Saint Paul
Church Trustees and presented two bids. Trustees had few questions and
inquiries which were forwarded to the bidders.
Bidders have replied. Church is pursuing a third bid.
